This Weekly Affirmation takes us through the final Chakra Clearings as we enter the final portals through the Galactic Center.  We join our soul family and  The Beginning of The Golden Age.  Many of us have been on this journey together for many years.  It has been an incredible experience to have met so many people around the world.  I have made many new friends and do consider us all to be One.  We are the Star Seeds who came to be here at this time on Earth to usher in this new beginning  in time on Earth.  A New Beginning for humanity, travel with us on this journey as we continue to awaken more of humanity over the next several years.

September is a pivotal month during which the outward directed energy of summer begins to shift inward in preparation for the six months spent in the darkness of the Earth’s Mother’s womb.  This month we will review our lives in the form of spiritual autobiography.  We will open our sixth sense by noticing synchronicity, and we will enter the world of dreams.

September is the gateway to Mystery, and as the Medicine Wheel turns from Summer to fall, we are greeted by Archangel Raphael, The Healer of God.  He remedies the sickness of belief in perfection by administering the great medicine of wholeness.

Listen to the voices of the Ancient Ones,

who call from the mycelial mat,

that grows beneath the forest floor.

The inner and outer

harvests are complete

and the storehouse of the unconscious

is swept clean.

We enter the Gates of Mystery

through the Dreamworld

September is a pivotal month for making necessary changes in our lives, our bodies and our minds.  As we begin with a clearing mediation, we will also take a look at other areas of our lives, such as our happiness, our health and what we can do about it. This month the focus will be on clearing, detoxing old thoughts and old energy so we can make room for new opportunities to come into our lives.   As we move closer to December 21, 2012 the time is near and time is of the essence.

We are experiencing  extreme changes in our environment, the planets and stars are moving into discordant aspects that affect all of us.  How will we manage the energy when it becomes disruptive?  How will be relieve the stress of not knowing, how will be comfort our children, these are questions many people ask me daily.

In the past month I have spent quite a bit time doing research on answering these questions with my own self examination by asking myself these questions and using the suggested practices in this newsletter.

The first thing I began to work on was my happiness, I felt working with abundance and daily affirmations would help my frame of mind, so far it is helping me each day to feel more confident about me, I am liking and loving myself.  I am grateful for what comes my way, no matter how small.

Next, was including the time for a short workout in the morning, to help  get my body moving.  I mean a short workout, about 10 minutes of yoga, some stretches, sun salutation, downward dog and some leg extensions….I started using the EFT program which takes about 5 minutes, this helped to clear discomfort of pain in my back, giving me clarity and focus.

Then I asked myself, what else could I do to help clear my negative thoughts.  It has been like a old record that plays over and over again, I knew that it was holding me back from moving forward.  The question was why?  I knew that my thoughts were manifesting the things in my life I didn’t want.  That’s where the meditation came in.  I found I could spend a few minutes to clear my mind and breathe, I have extended the time over the month and the monkey mind is gone, no more ego, telling me I’m not good enough and causing me doubt.

Even with all of this going on, I felt there was something more I needed, a clearing of past issues.  I didn’t want to spend a lot of money or any money……then I found Judy Satori’S web site.  I was able to download her mp3′s guided meditations from  her site, that I felt I needed.

I really wanted to feel better, I was willing to spend a little bit of extra time to work on myself.  I can’t tell you how much better I feel.

Last but not least,  a small change in my diet, drinking more water, with a slice of lemon or juice, a  detoxing vitamin smoothies everyday, to give me an extra boost of energy that cleared my body of toxins.  I already eat a healthy diet of vegetables, grains, nuts, fish chicken, but the extra boost of live fresh vegetables gave me the vitality I needed.  My spirits are high, I am working on clearing old issues and feeling alive again.

You are the only one who can make these changes……The plan is laid out for you, you can adjust it to fit your needs and how much time you want to spend.  Start slow and work into it…….The Time is NOW!

Five Steps to Abundance

There are five simple steps which will allow us to receive the abundance and prosperity we would like. GoldThey are natural steps of giving and receiving which we can use each day to create the circular flow of joyful prosperity and abundance in our lives. Soon these steps become our way of life and an easy expression of our joy and prosperity.

To step into the flow of Abundance for your life.

1. Give what you want to receive. The flow of Abundance is already all around you. To step into this flow is easy. Give to someone else the very thing you would like to receive. And give it freely without expectations of receiving, as if you already had more than enough. If you want more kindness in your life, be kind to someone, if you want more happiness in your life, make someone else happy, if you want more money in your life, share a little of what you have. Give it away easily, like you already had all that you need and there is plenty more from where that came from.

2. Trust and know. The next step is to trust and know you have just stepped into the flow of abundance and are now aligned with what you want. Know there is more than enough to go around and it is easy to have all you want.

3. Take Action. Participation is an important part of Abundance. While you are knowing you are now aligned with the flow of the abundance you want, it is also important to participate and help make things happen. Follow your inner knowing and your intuition and do your part to help create the abundance you would like to have. Continue to participate until you are receiving what you want.

4. Be Grateful. Gratitude is a vital step in the flow of abundance. It is a powerful magnet which keeps us in the flow and aligned with receiving all the wonderful things we desire. Fill yourself with gratitude all the time, even about the small and seemingly simple things in your life. There is always something to be grateful about. When you notice a little of what you want flowing to you, take a moment and be grateful for what you have received, regardless of how big or small it may be. Be grateful and say thank you.

5. Pass it on. When you receive a little abundance take a moment and pass some of it on and assist someone else in feeling a little more abundant. When you pass on some of what you receive, do it easily as if you already have more than you need, expecting nothing in return. When you pass it on in this way you are now starting the process all over again and have once again taken the first step to “give what you want to receive.” In this way the flow of abundance continues and becomes more and more each time.

~ Why Do I Feel Like This ~

Are you experiencing any of these ascension symptoms? Do you feel something has fundamentally changed in your life? Do you feel the ‘SHIFT’ ?

Ascension Symptoms

1. Feeling as though you are in a pressure cooker or in intense energy; feeling stress. Remember, you are adjusting to a higher vibration and you will eventually adjust. Old patterns, behaviors and beliefs are also being pushed to the surface. There is a lot going on inside of you.

2. A feeling of disorientation; not knowing where you are; a loss of a sense of place. You are not in 3D anymore, as you have moved or in the process of moving into the higher realms.

3. Unusual aches and pains throughout different parts of your body. You are purifying and releasing blocked energy vibrating at 3D, while you are vibrating in a higher dimension.

4. Waking at night between 2 and 4 a.m. Much is going on in your dream state. You can’t be there for long lengths of time and need a break. This is also the ‘cleansing and releasing’ hour.

5. Memory loss. A great abundance of short term memory loss and only vague remembrances of your past. You are in more than one dimension at a time, and going back and forth as part of the transition, you are experiencing a ‘disconnect’. Also, your past is part of the Old, and the Old is forever gone. Being in the Now is the way of the New World.

6. ‘Seeing’ and ‘hearing’ things. You are experiencing different dimensions as you transition, all according to how sensitive you are and how you are wired.

7. Loss of identity. You try to access the Old you, but it is no longer there. You may not know who you are looking at in the mirror. You have cleared much of your old patterns and are now embodying much more light and a simpler, more purified divine you. All is in order, You are okay.

8. Feeling ‘out of body’. You may feel as though someone is talking, but it is not you. This is our natural defense mechanism of survival when we are under acute stress or feeling traumatized or out of control. Your body is going through a lot and you may not want to be in it. My ascension guide told me that this was a way of easing the transition process, and that I did not need to experience what my body was going through. This only lasted a short time. It passes.

9. Periods of deep sleeping. You are resting from all the acclimating and are integrating, as well as building up for the next phase.

10. Heightened sensitivities to your surroundings. Crowds, noise, foods, TV, other human voices and various other stimulations are barely tolerable. You also overwhelm very easily and become easily overstimulated. You are tuning up. Know that this will eventually pass.

11. You don’t feel like doing anything. You are in a rest period, ‘rebooting’. Your body knows what it needs. In addition, when you begin reaching the higher realms, ‘doing’ and ‘making things happen’ becomes obsolete as the New energies support the feminine of basking, receiving, creating, self-care and nurturing. Ask the Universe to ‘bring’ you what you want while you are enjoying yourself and having fun.

12. An intolerance for lower vibrational things of the 3D, reflected in conversations, attitudes, societal structures, healing modalities, etc. They literally make you feel ‘sick’ inside. You are in a higher vibration and your energies are no longer in alignment. You are being ‘pushed, to move forward; to ‘be’ and create the New.

13. A loss of desire for food. Your body is adjusting to a new, higher state of being. Also, part of you does not want to be here anymore in the Old.

14. A sudden disappearance of friends, activities, habits, jobs and residences. You are evolving beyond what you used to be, and these people and surroundings no longer match your vibration. The New will soon arrive and feel so-o-o-o much better.

15. You absolutely cannot do certain things anymore. When you try to do your usual routine and activities, it feels downright awful. You are evolving beyond what you used to be, and these people and surroundings no longer match your vibration. The New will soon arrive and feel so-o-o-o much better.

16. Days of extreme fatigue. Your body is losing density and going through intense restructuring.

17. A need to eat often along with what feels like attacks of low blood sugar. Weight gain, especially in the abdominal area. A craving for protein. You are requiring an enormous amount of fuel for this ascension process. Weight gain with an inability to loose it no matter what you do is one of the most typical experiences. Trust that your body knows what it is doing.

18. Experiencing emotional ups and downs; weeping. Our emotions are our outlet for release, and we are releasing a lot.

19. A wanting to go Home, as if everything is over and you don’t belong here anymore. We are returning to Source. Everything is over, but many of us are staying to experience and create the New World. Also, our old plans for coming have been completed.

20. Feeling you are going insane, or must be developing a mental illness of some sort. You are rapidly experiencing several dimensions and greatly opening. Much is available to you now. You are just not used to it. Your awareness has been heightened and your barriers are gone. This will pass and you will eventually feel very at Home like you have never felt before, as Home is now here.

21. Anxiety and panic. Your ego is losing much of itself and is afraid. Your system is also on overload. Things are happening to you that you may not understand. You are also losing behaviour patterns of a lower vibration that you developed for survival in 3D. This may make you feel vulnerable and powerless. These patterns and behaviours you are losing are not needed in the higher realms. This will pass and you will eventually feel so much love, safety and unity. Just wait.

22. Depression. The outer world may not be in alignment with the New, higher vibrational you. It doesn’t feel so good out there. You are also releasing lower, darker energies and you are ‘seeing’ through them. Hang in there.

23. Vivid, wild and sometimes violent dreams. You are releasing many, many lifetimes of lower vibrational energy. Many are now reporting that they are experiencing beautiful dreams. Your dream state will eventually improve and you will enjoy it again. Some experience this releasing while awake. My mother commented one day that she believed I was having nightmares in the daytime.

24. Night sweats and hot flashes. Your body is ‘heating’ up as it burns off residue.

25. Your plans suddenly change in mid-stream and go in a completely different direction. Your soul is balancing out your energy. It usually feels great in this new direction, as your soul knows more than you do. It is breaking your ‘rut’ choices and vibration.

26. You have created a situation that seems like your worst nightmare, with many ‘worst nightmare’ aspects to it. Your soul is guiding you into ‘stretching’ into aspects of yourself where you were lacking, or into ‘toning down’ aspects where you had an overabundance. Your energy is just balancing itself. Finding your way to peace through this situation is the test you have set up for yourself. This is your journey, and your soul would not have set it up if you weren’t ready. You are the one who finds your way out and you will. Looking back, you will have gratitude for the experience and be a different person.

It is helpful for us to develop a daily spiritual discipline to smooth the way through Earth’s ascension process.  The daily practice plan outlined below will assist you to consciously develop attitudes of self mastery and to clear the patterns of your soul’s past that may be limiting you from being all that you can be, in this body, this life.

Recommended Daily Ascension Plan:

1. Connection With Spirit and Your Higher Self

Begin with a prayer, meditation, or energy activation.  These energy activations can be done with any other energy work, including karmic clearing work, but done at another time of the day.   Select one:

a.  Arcturian Balancing Meditation – An Arcturian technique to realign you on all levels of body, mind and spirit when you feel stressed and out of balance.

2.  Opening the Heart

Next use an activation working directly with the Heart Chakra to help you open to greater love.   Opening the Heart activations can be done with any other energy activation including Karmic clearing work, but at another time of the day.  Select one:

3.  Clearing Karmic Miasmic Distortion

It is very important to clear as much karmic distortion from the cells and energy anatomy of the body as possible.   This clearing is ongoing as these old patterns of limiting thought and belief are coming up for all of us.  They must be cleared as much as possible for us to move through a process of soul expansion and soul ascension.  Try to work on one limiting thought pattern each week.  For most karmic clearing activations listen to the track 3x at one session per day for 7 days, a total of 21 repetitions.  You can cut back to listening once only per day if the activation creates unpleasant physical or emotional symptoms as part of the detox effects of the release.  READ KARMA KLEAR INFORMATION

Healthy Food Choices ~

When summer’s produce is in abundance we like to create meals that revolve around it, like this one. If you are vegan or vegetarian you can substitute cooked blacked beans or sautéed tempeh for the chicken. I think you’ll find the Spicy Avocado Dressing rather addicting! Tom and I like to make a batch of this dressing with the whole jalapeño—seeds and all, but for the children we make it without the seeds.

Did you know that eating a small avocado with a meal containing carotenoids (found in the tomatoes, peppers, and salad greens) helps to absorb these beneficial compounds? Carotenoids, like beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, gamma-carotene, lycopene, lutein, zeaxanthin, and beta-cryptoxanthin all need to be consumed with fat to optimize absorption in the intestines. One also needs to have a functioning small intestine for this to occur (gluten, antibiotics, yeast overgrowth, and environmental toxins can damage the gut and impede absorption of fats and fat-soluble nutrients). Once in the body these carotenoids act as powerful antioxidants mopping up free radicals. Some of these carotenoids can also be converted into vitamin A (all-trans-retinol). We need vitamin A to assist with gene transcription, proper development of an embryo, various reproductive processes, night and color vision, skin health (acne), cellular communication, and proper immune function. Vitamin A is found in liver, meat, and dairy products. In order to convert carotenoids from plants into vitamin A we need to have adequate zinc and proper thyroid function as the T3 thyroid hormone helps in the conversion process. When pregnant and lactating the need for preformed vitamin A increases quite a bit so be sure to consume enough carotenoids from plants and vitamin A from animal sources, or if you are vegan, be sure to consume enough iodine, zinc, and selenium-rich foods for proper thyroid function so you can properly convert carotenoids from plants into Vitamin A.

Chicken Fajita Salad with Spicy Avocado Dressing

When we make meals like this we like to place everything out on the counter and let the children make their own plates with the ingredients they prefer most. They never add fresh tomatoes but love Cucumber Salsa! If you want the dressing less spicy then remove the seeds from the pepper before blending. If you want it really spicy, leave the seeds intact, and just cut the stem off before blending.

4 organic chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 lime, juiced
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
¼ to ½ teaspoon chipotle chili powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
olive oil or coconut oil for cooking
1 head romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
1 small head napa cabbage, thinly sliced
heirloom tomatoes, cut into wedges
bell peppers, cut into strips
chopped cilantro
2 small avocados
¾ cup water
¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 jalapeno pepper, stem removed
1 clove garlic, peeled
handful fresh cilantro
½ teaspoon sea salt
To make the chicken, place all ingredients into a medium-sized bowl or glass pan and gently stir. Cover and marinate on the counter for 20 to 30 minutes or refrigerate and marinate for up to 3 hours. Heat a large stainless steel or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon or two of coconut oil or olive oil. Add some of the chicken, making sure not to crowd the pan (if you add too much chicken at once it will crowd the pan and cool it off causing much of the liquids to be released into the pan instead of searing them in, causing the chicken to dry out). Sauté each batch of chicken for about 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked through. Place onto a plate to serve.
Place the romaine and napa into a large bowl and toss together. Place the tomatoes and peppers onto a plate. Place and chopped cilantro into a small bowl.
To make the dressing, place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a bowl or jar to serve.

Let each person assemble their own salads. Enjoy!

Harvest Green Smoothie

I have been making smoothies out of all of the amazing fruit and greens we have available right now. Honeycrisp apples and bartlett pears create the most delicious fruit base with lovely flowery undertones. The greens are sweet and delicious right now, not as bitter as they are in the middle of the summer. These cold, crisp nights cause them to become sweeter. We like to create green smoothies with whatever we have on hand. I have been freezing plenty of pears and peaches to use when these fruits are out of season. Right now there are plenty of varieties of apples to choose from, pears, grapes (blend the seeds in too), still some peaches, and of course plenty of dark leafy greens to choose from (kale, collards, carrot tops, bok choy, cabbage, arugula, spinach, lettuce). You can be very creative with your smoothie. If it doesn’t taste right just add more fruit, lemon juice, or more greens.

Please note that this recipe is designed using a Vita-Mix which can make about 2 quarts at a time. Cut this recipe in half if you are using a regular blender.

2 honeycrisp apples, cored and cut into chunks
2 small bartlett pears, cored and cut into chunks
1 white peach, pitted
1 lemon, juiced
1 chunk of ginger
3 to 4 cups water
3 to 4 collards leaves
3 to 4 kale leaves
2 to 3 large handfuls spinach leaves

Place the apples, pears, peach, lemon juice, ginger, and water into the Vita-Mix, blend until smooth. Add the greens, a little at a time, blend, and then add more greens, blend again until smooth. Taste the smoothie to determine if it needs more greens, fruit, lemon, or water. I usually taste it and if it too sweet I just keep adding greens until my Vita-Mix is practically overflowing with green smoothie!

Tropical Green Smoothie

2 Hawaiian apple bananas
1 starfruit
2 passionfruit (use the pulp and seeds)
6 strawberry guavas
2 guavas
1 papaya, seeded
2 cups frozen pineapple
1-inch piece of fresh ginger
1 to 2 bunches of kale
2 to 3 cups water

Place all ingredients into a Vita-Mix or other high-powered blender and blend in intervals until smooth. Add more water if necessary.

~ Spiritual Maturity ~

August is the month during which nature celebrates her maturity.  The hatchlings in the nest have found the wings to fly, and the boughs of the old apple tree are heavy with fruit.  The Godseed within our hearts is also ripening, so that we become more flexible, more tolerant of the shades of gray that characterize life on planet earth.  Every interaction becomes an opportunity to encourage us to be kind as we acknowledge the Godseed within us all.  As the pumpkins ripen on the vine,mellowing in the shortening days and colder nights, the vine itself begins the drying time.  It’s purpose is complete.

August reminds us of the impermanence of all things.  All that seems so dependable will someday pass away.  In that poignant knowledge we mature into a deeper appreciation of all we have, of all we love.

 Listen to the voices of the Ancient Ones,

that call from the roots of the oaks and willows.

Nature is setting seed,

storing the energy of the light

for future generations.

Likewise, ours souls are coming

to Spiritual maturity ~

A flexible, gracious attitude,

that finds intense joy

in the impermanence of life.

Sun and Moon

We begin August with a Full Moon in Aquarius, this is a time of endings and new beginnings.  As we move forward on our journey, it reflects the cutting edge in the situation, the learning curve whereby you can turn adversity into accomplishment — using creativity and a positive attitude.

The Full Moon brings sweeping shifts of consciousness. As an exercise, spend some time actually sweeping — this is symbolically a way to clear the cobwebs of the mind. Get the air moving, let go of habits of thought that keep you in a stale loop. Now is the time for altered states — originality, free thinking, even shades of genius.

There can be many external pressures, but here, it’s a demand to remove inner barriers to full self-expression. It’s very personal, since only you know the very unique plot and inklings you’ve had, signs from the universe. And yet, your story is part of the whole — a grand design that Aquarius sees with startling clarity. Even if we’re alone on a mountaintop — and Aquarius has its loner side — we could sense the bigger matrix of which we’re a part.

It can be a boost to the sense of mission, and also make each of us feel like we’re making a contribution. It’s the fire of the passionate mind that’s catching on. A vision can be firmed up at this Full Moon, bringing on confidence.

Since the Moon is Full in Aquarius, we meet the cheerleader Leo Sun across the way. It alerts us to that truism that a way to the universal is through the personal. By expressing proudly who we are, and exploring our talents, passions, loves — we gift that to the whole.

Courage to Look Beyond

In many ways, we’re losing our bearings. We are letting go of the shore like the Hopi prophecy tells us, and must go on trust that the river has a destination. And being set adrift, we can find another kind of order in synchronicity, messages of guidance.

This Full Moon is like the preview of another way to live. Aquarius is the one plugged in to the cosmos, and at this lunar peak, we can too. Watch for strange, trippy, genius ideas, or random encounters with people that electrify your creative dreams.

What we call the universe — the reality around us — is always engaging with us, sending messages. We can get crystal clear impressions, about how to make the most of our unique shine (frequency). One suggestion, which I’ll be doing, is to ask for vivid guidance (Sun’s in Leo after all) — in dreams, synchronicity and what pops in your head.

Some Full Moon themes and suggestions:

  • Find your peeps for artistic collaboration, creative rabble rousing, stimulating company.
  • Bust out of what you think you know — be open to mind blowing shifts in perspective.
  • Celebrate your uniqueness, encourage others to do the same.

  • Shake off limiting perspectives, and celebrate your freedom.
  • Using technology to make heart connections, and organize around your ideals.

Happiness is not something you find, it’s something you create.

Wisdom of the Body

Our body is our most reliable guide to happiness. Whereas the mind lives in the past and the future, the body resides in the now and never doubts itself. It knows the truth and will guide you toward the most evolutionary choices. As modern dance pioneer Martha Graham once said, “The body never lies . . . it says what words cannot.”

By listening to your body’s signals, you can gather valuable clues that will guide you to greater happiness. Developing awareness is key because so many of us were taught to ignore our body as we were growing up. We may have received the message that our mind was the most valuable part of ourselves. If you have been living “from the neck up,” re-discovering the wisdom of the body will be particularly rich and rewarding.

Exercise: Get Grounded

One powerful way to expand your awareness is to ground yourself in your body. Whenever you feel distracted or triggered by a situation or event, tune into the feelings in your body. For instance, if you receive an unexpected bill and your normal reaction would be to feel angry or anxious, try this simple yoga pose known as Tadasana or Standing Mountain

Step by Step

Stand with the bases of your big toes touching, heels slightly apart (so that your second toes are parallel). Lift and spread your toes and the balls of your feet, then lay them softly down on the floor. Rock back and forth and side to side. Gradually reduce this swaying to a standstill, with your weight balanced evenly on the feet.

Firm your thigh muscles and lift the knee caps, without hardening your lower belly. Lift the inner ankles to strengthen the inner arches, then imagine a line of energy all the way up along your inner thighs to your groins, and from there through the core of your torso, neck, and head, and out through the crown of your head. Turn the upper thighs slightly inward. Lengthen your tailbone toward the floor and lift the pubis toward the navel.

Press your shoulder blades into your back, then widen them across and release them down your back. Without pushing your lower front ribs forward, lift the top of your sternum straight toward the ceiling. Widen your collarbones. Hang your arms beside the torso.

Balance the crown of your head directly over the center of your pelvis, with the underside of your chin parallel to the floor, throat soft, and the tongue wide and flat on the floor of your mouth. Soften your eyes.

Tadasana is usually the starting position for all the standing poses. But it’s useful to practice Tadasana as a pose in itself. Stay in the pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute, breathing easily.

*Note: If a standing position isn’t available to you, you can receive the same grounding benefits of mountain pose by performing a modified version of it in a chair. Root your feet on the ground and stretch your arms upwards and then lower them to your sides. Close your eyes and follow the rest of the instructions for focusing on feeling the sensations in your body.

 ~ Intention ~

An intention is a choice to move in a particular direction. We’ll focus on three practical intentions for creating increased awareness of your body.

1. I make choices to maximize the energy in my body.
Your body is your connection to the infinite supply of energy in the universe. If you’re feeling any kind of lack, it is because you’re resisting the flow of this infinite supply.  Ask your body what it needs and follow its guidance.

2. Before I act on any emotion, I will consult my heart.
Your heart is the seat of emotional intelligence and it is a reliable guide when you trust it. Tune into your heart throughout the day, particularly when you have a decision to make. Put your hand on your heart and pay attention to any subtle sensations or feelings that signal a “yes” or a “no.”

3. Lightness of being in my body will be my indicator of happiness.  Begin to pay attention to the sensations in your body. If you feel heavy or dull, make shifts, no matter how small, to let go of old patterns so that you can open to the freshness and pure potential each moment holds. Give your body what it needs the most, whether that is more restful sleep, life-giving nourishment, the joy of movement, or communion with nature.

At the beginning and end of each day, read these intentions and let the words sink deep into your consciousness. As you move throughout your day, pay attention to your body and, as best you can, tune into its messages and act on its guidance.

~ Meditation ~

As we all go forward on our own journey it is important to remember, we are not here to save anyone. We cannot stop world hunger, or take away someone’s pain. We are here to align ourselves with our own true God. Where does he live, you ask. This is a simple question and answer, He Lives Within. You are the only one who answers to your true heart calling.

This month lets take the time to review our emotional state.  As we begin to find our quiet center, we can go deeper into our true calling in life, so that we can find peace of mind. Wherever we find Love, is where we find our true calling.  It could be just being happy staying home with our children, caring for pets or sending messages of Love and Hope as I do.  When something brings you joy, without the need to be rewarded…..You Know, You are on the Right Path.

But, what happens when you feel pain, suffering and blocks?  Recently, I experienced an event, that made me stop and re – access my own life.  I had to ask some hard questions about ME!  I watched a series on PBS called “This Emotional Life”.  This series gave me an understanding of my own emotions from a scientific and spiritual aspect along with the tools to help me understand my own emotions of  fear, pain, anger, love, compassion.  The one thing I learned, was that we all need to connect with ourselves and others to have a fulfilling life.

So to continue with our theme this month of Spiritual Maturity, this article really hit home.  A way to go deep in my mediation and ask some hard questions.  Take a little time to review, but be gentle with your self……Be Forgiving of yourself and others, we are all growing, sharing and learning together to make the world a better place.

Glamour is essentially emotion driven desire colorizing itself on an illusory screen through the lens of the conditioned human personality. These illusory forms enliven our lives, sometimes with ecstatic sensations, however, produce limiting consciousness patterns which outplay in fantasized realities, false values, misleading desires, distorted perceptions and many needless necessities. Some of the most tenacious glamours are so deeply embedded that they are not even recognized or thought of as hindrances to greater revelations in consciousness.

The condition of glamour is an inherent component of our make-up stemming from ancient astral patterns and age-long personality desires. There are an infinite number of ways that emotions can be glamorized. These false formations can always be found where there is any degree of criticism, pride, emotional attachment, behaviors of separatism and a sense of superiority.

The Glamour of Self Identity
This is the major trigger for all other glamours and which creates the greatest separation between self and other, between the human and the divine. This is attachment to the formed human expression including its physical form, the bodily appearance, a held image, to emoting response and with attachment to roles. The emotion of personal identity creates unending desires, cravings, fear, doubt, neurotic thought and a continuous wheel of large and small sufferings in all areas of life.

The Glamour of Power
This glamour is often unselfishly created during a time when one feels to be in great spiritual alignment while experiencing great openings and new abilities. There is emotional attachment to the sense of power that develops. There is then a growing tendency to call attention to ourselves, to the mission that we are carrying out, to the confidence that the Masters have in us, that our view is the best view.

The Glamour of Materiality
This is the attachment of emotion to outer forms and false appearances which creates desire for needless material possessions. It is the false perception of values which ignores true spiritual principles and our forward movement into selflessness as a group consciousness. The present world economic situation is a result of this particular glamour in which we all have contributed.

The Glamour of Devotion
This is one of the strongest glamours in the spiritually focused due to deep devotion and dedication to the spiritual path. The high level of devotion can innocently result in the formation of personal desires and glamorized ideals. There is great emotional attachment to a teaching, a concept, a vision, a view, a teacher, a Master, healing something, assisting the Earth, etc.. The glamour restricts the more expanded vision while closing us into a box of fantasy, personality longings, a long list of desires and to do’s. While immersed in this glamour, it is impossible for divine messaging to be correctly interpreted or even to enter.

The Glamour of Psychic Perception
As a result of the quickening of planetary energies, many people are opening into the realm of extra sensory perception. This provides easier access into the colorful and inviting realm of the psychic world and the illusory astral plane. One thinks the incoming visions and messages are divine truth when, in fact, they are clothed with distortion. This occurs due to spiritual pride, zealous ambition and emoting attachment to the self identity and its abilities.

The Glamour of the Spiritual Path
The Glamour of Destiny
As a result of emotional attachment to one’s Path, this glamour produces high aspirations but limiting vision, selfish interpretations and self centeredness due to the individualized focus versus true realization of group consciousness. This is also the attachment of emotion towards the belief that we have important work to do in the world, that we are special, the Christed ones, ascension’s “first wavers”, starseeds, etc.. There is much preoccupation with identity and an overemphasis of spiritual ambition. Fantasized realities can also result.

The Glamour of Sentimentality
This is the desire to emotionally be or react in a certain way. This is overemphasis of emotion placed upon a needed response from another in order to satisfy a desired level of personal comfort. This glamour attaches to the personalities of others. There is emotional reaction to another’s emotional response. It is also the strong emotional desire to love and to be loved on the human level. (Definitely a most challenging one to overcome in the process of personality-Soul fusion.)

The Glamour of Speculative Belief
This is the formation of held concepts, beliefs and resulting emotional patterns based upon the attachment to information that is not derived from one’s own illuminated consciousness. The glamour produces conditioned belief through the blind acceptance of information from someone else’s principles, theories and assumptions or from messaging that is based on a guess, a possibility, a potential, a prophecy or ancient claim, etc.

The Glamour of the Messiah Complex
This is attaching emotion to the role of being a savior and the illusion of having to take on the suffering for others. This is a very common glamour experienced by teachers and healers.

The Glamour of Self Importance
This glamour produces an overemphasis towards a sense of duty or responsibility. There is hurriedness, impatience and always something to do, create, plan. Self centered tendencies create continuous desires to share the opinion, the experience, the creativity, the message. There is much self reference and talk, “my project”, “my vision”, “my view”, “my experience”.

8 Foods for Gorgeous Skin

While genetics and lifestyle habits play a significant role in skin health, the right foods can also help you fight acne, minimize wrinkles, and enhance your skin’s natural beauty.

Tropical Fruit
Eating guava, pineapple, papaya, kiwi, and other tropical fruits that contain vitamin C will help defend your skin against damaging free radicals. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that is naturally found in the skin, so eating tropical fruits and other vitamin C–rich foods can replenish your skin’s stores. Vitamin C also helps your body produce collagen, a protein that helps keep your skin firm and elastic.

Salmon, herring, mackerel, sardines, anchovies, and rainbow trout all contain omega–3 fats, which help fortify skin cell membranes, protect against sun damage, and may also reduce the risk of certain forms of skin cancer. It’s not a “food,” per se, but water is crucial when it comes to skin health because it flushes toxins out of your body, delivers nutrients to your cells, and keeps your organs functioning. It also helps keep your cells plump and full, which makes your skin look firmer and clearer. To get more water in your daily diet, fill up a large reusable container with ice–cold water each morning, and keep drinking from it throughout the day. And drinking water isn’t the only way to keep your skin cells hydrated. Many fruits and veggies are more than 75 percent water (by weight), so they’re a terrific source of H2O, too.

~ Archangel Gabriel ~


The archangels are thought to be genderless, a blend of masculine and feminine.  Gabriel, however, has a more feminine aspect and is the archangel who is present at births, the birth of small things and the birth of ideas.  Gabriel has shown up throughout history as a messenger about our creative role in the cosmos.  It was Gabriel who appeared to Mary to tell her that she would bear Jesus and to Elizabeth to tell her that she would bear the the son who was to be John the Baptist.  It was also Gabriel who revealed the Koran to Mohammed and who instructed Joan of Arc to aid the Dauphin.  Gabriel awakens us to our creative role in the cosmos.


Close your eyes and take several letting go breaths, patiently and slowly entering the Holy of  Holies, the inner sanctum within you.  Invoke the presence of Gabriel to your right, the Southern Gate of your body temple.  Give thanks to this Awakening Spirit for helping you come to into greater awareness of your creative potential so that you can bloom abundantly, unfolding the blessings of summer for the benefit of all beings.  Sit quietly and receptively, aware of the Presence of Archangel Gabriel.

Two or three times to day, place your awareness on your right side and invoke the presence of Gabriel.

Daily Resolutions

  • I am a seeker of truth on a spiritual journey.

The Nature of Miracles

A dead branch slashes diagonally across the picture plane. A brown bird sits immobile on another. The horizon tilts, dotted at its centre with tiny faraway buildings. Or are those specks just rocky outcrops? A maze of forbidding thorns curtains access to a bleak and barren landscape and wisps of grey insubstantial clouds trail a flat hard sky like smudges on a wall. But wait! Way down in the bottom left-hand corner there is one sign of life: a little grey dung beetle is busily going about its business.

There’s a drama unfolding in this painting. The rainbird, renowned for its lovely song heralding the coming of the long-awaited rains in Botswana, is a voracious predator. Will the scurrying beetle escape its notice or will it become prey? The tension created by the strong diagonal between them makes them the protagonists here, and their placement in opposite corners of the work draws attention to the empty landscape.

Who or what is waiting for the miracle? The breathlessly oppressive sky, the silent thirsty earth, the heraldic rainbird all seem to be waiting and perhaps the viewer is too. The only creature not waiting is the beetle, steadily pushing its ball of dung. When she finds the right spot, she will bury it and it will nourish her offspring who will grow up and carry on doing what she did. In the process, the seeds of plants that have passed through the digestive tracts of animals will germinate and grow and bear fruit.

‘Seeing is believing,’ so many of us say. Faith says: ‘Believe and you will see.’ Without hope, we have neither will nor energy to keep on going day by day, bearing our heavy and sometimes stinking loads. We are so small, our contributions so inadequate in the face of the world’s problems. But the eyes of faith see us placing our little loaves and fishes in the hands of the One who performs the miracle of multiplication, the One who grows a tree.

Zane Lang: ‘I was born in 1957, twenty days before the first spaceship, Sputnik, was launched. I enjoy watching the stars.’ He grew up in Zimbabwe and studied Fine Art in Pietermaritzburg and then taught in Durban, South Africa. Like some Old-Testament prophet or a modern urban shaman, Zane left the city of Durban in 2001 and went to live in Botswana, where he ventures into the open spaces of the desert and expresses his visions and experiences.
